I am the founder of CFO of the Future. My mission began with a simple yet crucial observation: the business world is becoming increasingly complex, and companies need top-tier financial leaders—including, and perhaps especially, in interim positions. But the reality was often different. I saw a growing gap between the demand for qualified CFOs and the supply. The market was flooded with generalists or short-term "handymen," while the boardroom level demands a different mindset: engagement, ownership, and a focus on structural solutions. Things had to change. Things had to get better. This insight was the seed for CFO of the Future: an exclusive network for and by world-class C-Suite CFOs. But a network alone wasn't enough. We needed a system—a model—that not only promises quality but also actively guarantees it.

As Secretary to the CFOs, he brings a unique combination of technical knowledge and a strong interest in the strategic role of AI in the financial sector. Wouter is committed to exploring how AI can serve as a co-pilot for CFOs, enabling them to strengthen their strategic decisions. With a solid foundation in financial management, gained during his minor at the University of Milan, Wouter is ideally equipped to contribute to initiatives that bring technology and finance together. His forward-thinking approach makes him a valuable force in shaping the future of financial leadership.
