  • We are looking for a seasoned finance leader with strong business acumen and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. 
  • The ideal candidate will possess:A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.20+ years of progressive financial management experience, ideally in complex or multinational organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage financial planning, analysis, and reporting at both business unit and corporate levels.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, reporting systems, and regulatory compliance.Strong understanding of local and international accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and driving cultural and operational change.
  • Ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.High integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of ethics.
  • Fluent English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site in Brussels and collaborate closely with the local leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.
  • Conduct detailed financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee the financial performance of multiple business segments in a matrixed structure, ensuring consistent reporting and control.Lead corporate financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal standards and external regulations.
  • Provide insightful financial reports and performance metrics to regional and global stakeholders.Identify and drive initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Manage end-to-end cash flow planning and reporting; oversee accounts receivable and ensure effective control over working capital.Minimize financial risk by monitoring key areas such as overdue receivables, work in progress, and disputes.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place and support the successful completion of external audits.
  • Direct the annual budgeting process in collaboration with relevant teams.Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead expense management efforts across departments.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a mid-sized finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.Collaborate across functions to support strategic initiatives and align financial planning with broader organizational goals.
